Overview
Financial Partners, LLC provides financial planning services designed to help clients better understand their financial situation and evaluate strategies related to their stated goals and priorities. Financial planning services emphasize education, organization, and informed decision‑making based on individual circumstances.
Financial planning services may be provided independently or in coordination with other services, subject to client engagement scope and applicable licensing or registration requirements.
What Financial Planning Involves
Financial planning is a collaborative process that may include reviewing and organizing financial information to address topics such as:
- Cash flow and budgeting considerations
- Personal financial goal identification
- Education funding considerations
- Retirement income planning considerations
- Risk management and insurance considerations
- Coordination of financial planning with tax considerations
Planning services are tailored to the client’s circumstances and are based on information provided by the client.
Planning Relationship and Scope
Financial planning services are provided pursuant to a written engagement agreement that describes the scope of planning services, fees, and responsibilities of both the client and the firm.
Financial planning services may be limited in scope or comprehensive, depending on the client’s needs and the agreed‑upon engagement.
Relationship to Investment Advisory Services
When financial planning includes investment‑related recommendations, such recommendations are provided only within the scope of applicable registration and client agreements.
Investment advisory services are offered through Cetera Investment Advisers LLC, a registered investment adviser. When provided under an advisory agreement, investment advisory services are subject to fiduciary standards.
Financial planning services that do not include investment advisory services are provided separately and do not, by themselves, create an investment advisory relationship.
Relationship to Tax and Accounting Services
Financial planning discussions may incorporate general tax considerations; however, tax planning and tax preparation services are provided separately and in a non‑investment advisory capacity.
Financial planning services do not include legal advice or legal representation. Clients are encouraged to consult qualified legal and tax professionals regarding legal or tax‑specific matters.
Important Planning Disclosures
- Financial planning involves analysis based on assumptions and client‑provided information.
- Outcomes are dependent on individual facts, circumstances, and future events that may change.
- No financial planning strategy can guarantee results or eliminate financial risk.
All planning recommendations are intended to support informed decision‑making and should be evaluated in the context of the client’s overall situation.
